Because you need it! Because here is the break you owe yourself.

Everyone at our weekend getaway is in the same boat.　You'll get to know others from both sexes and if you don't pull, you'll still meet others who you can keep in touch with and meet again.

The problem with being 'newly' single is that all those old friends who you lost touch with have moved on i.e. in relationships, with kids, moved away, etc.　Even if they want to go away (and they'd probably love to), they know they can't due to natural circumstances.

So it's off to a dating agency, the local singles' club or the inter-net chat rooms (and who knows who you are really chatting to in those?)

What goes on
At 'weekends4singles', we offer a weekend of fun.　Starting on Friday afternoon, we'll help you to meet others with various activities designed to break the ice.　We won't let you stand around feeling awkward.　Once you've gotten to know those of your own sex, we'll get both sexes together for some fun and games before dinner.

After dinner, we have an evening of entertainment.　The exact program will differ on each weekend, but there will always be a disco on both Friday and Saturday nights and a comedian, or one or the other.　The comedian will have material of an adult nature so if you are easily offended, perhaps these weekends are not for you.　The discos will be presented by DJs who specialize in adult entertainment and who will ensure that there is plenty happening and no dull moments.



Saturdays will start late to allow a full recovery but the afternoon will be full of fun and games and more evening entertainment after dinner.

By Sunday afternoon, you'll have plenty of newly found friends/contacts to say goodbye to before we kick you out! :-)

Anything goes

Is this an "anything goes" weekend?

No.　It is not a sex holiday and it is not an opportunity to get drunk out of your mind either.　We use high quality hotels who expect high standards of behavior. Remember there may be other guests in the hotel who are not with our party and we have to respect their right to a peaceful stay.

Of course our guests are all adults and if a couple/s meet and get together in the privacy of their own room without annoying or upsetting others, that's their right.

As far as alcohol goes, we all know what it can do.　It can relax you, make you feel at ease with others and help create a fun atmosphere.　On the other hand, too much can cause you to make a total fool of yourself and reduce your attractiveness considerably.

We have to abide by the rules of the hotel and if the hotel staff decides that you should be removed from the hotel, we will not intervene on your behalf.　No refunds will be offered, so let's avoid problems and stick to having a great time.

Cost?
£150.　Simple as that.　A weekend of entertainment and two nights Bed and Breakfast in a high quality hotel.　All you need to bring is a few quid for food and drinks, although you may want to wander round the local area for some souvenirs. How about a postcard for the ex?!?!

Birmingham Event
23 - 25 November 2001 - Jurys Inn, Birmingham

We are pleased to have booked places at Jurys Inn in Broad Street, Birmingham for this event.　We have 40 male and 40 females places available.　The cost will be £150 per person (£30 deposit required on booking).

So what do I get for my money?
2 nights Bed and Breakfast, organized fun and games hosted by our professional entertainment team during the day, a disco on Friday night and an adult theme party with buffet on Saturday night.　There will be various surprises throughout the weekend and you will be helped to forget your troubles and spend the time laughing and having fun.

What about my other meals?
We thought about making the hotel booking full board originally but decided that to keep the cost affordable for as many people as possible, it was better to allow our guests to choose where and what they eat rather than have three full meals that many would not want.　Broad Street has many eating places where you can buy sandwiches, fish and chips, burgers, pizza, Indian and Chinese food or a really posh meal if you are feeling flush.　The local Indian restaurants cater for those leaving nightclubs and are open until around 4am.　

But I want to eat in the hotel
The hotel offers very reasonably priced meals and a varied menu to suit all budgets.

When do I need to arrive?
Our program of events starts at around 4pm on Friday 23rd November.　You can book into the hotel from 3pm on that day.　If you want to make the best of the weekend, it is better to if you can get the Friday off work.　If you are going to be late for any reason, it is best if we know so that we can advise Reception.

When can I go home?
You haven't even got there yet!!
We would like all our guests to have Sunday lunch with us at the hotel before they depart.　This is a good opportunity to say final 'good-byes'.　We have not included this in our price as some may not be able to stay but the Sunday lunch menu is very reasonably priced.

If you want to stay later into the evening on Sunday, the hotel will be happy to store your bags until you are ready to leave.

So do we get any free time?
Sounds like a school trip!!
Yes, there will be plenty of activities but we don't annoy you all weekend.

I see that the price is based on two sharing a room but I'm coming on my own, do I have to share?
At that price, yes.　Come on, you could sit at home if you wanted to be alone.　To keep the price low and to encourage mixing, we decided on this method of booking. We will be pairing people of the same sex (sorry lads, we can't make it that easy for you!!) and of similar ages.　However, if you really don't feel happy about sharing, we can give you a price for a single room.

What age will the other guests be?
Obviously we cannot know that until all the bookings have been made, but the expressions of interest we have had range from age 23 to age 61.　The majority have been in their thirties and early forties.

What are all these activities you have planned for us?
We had intended to give you a program but decided that it is more fun if you don't know what is going to happen next.　To give you some idea, there will be some team games and we would be giving away some prizes.　It is possible that you may even recoup the cost of the weekend
