1974 Yamaha FS1E 50 for sale.
The FS1E is a favorite of 1000s of bikers of a certain age! For so many, this
was their first bike and first real freedom to travel on their own (mine was a
yellow and black FS1E DX).
This is an original UK registered machine (10/05/1974). It has had one owner
for most of its life from 1977 to this year.
Condition. We are presently (March 08) restoring this Fizzy to as good a standard
as we can achieve. We hope it will be near to concours. Most of the chrome will
be new, frame painted, engine re-built with new parts as required (inc. crank over-haul
and new piston and rings etc..). Wheels and tyres new and paintwork will be by
"Dream Machine".
The photos below show re-assembly underway on 26th October 07 and the bike before
work commenced!
In addition to the complete re-build the bike will have a full MOT. It will
also be roadtested and checked over again prior to delivery.
Delivery is available in our van at 45p/mile, charged on total mileage.
