Race started at 2:00pm which was strange to all. Guess that was the first bike race started in the afternoon. It was nice sunny before the race, then a bit cloudy after race start. Unluckily, heavy raining arrived about the half of my race. It's so muddy, especially at those a few up and downs. Over half height of wheels had been rolling down in miriness water at certain sinkages.

Three of us had been accompanying pedaling for the last 10k and finished together. Ooh, my adidas jersey...

The dinner & party at the night after 1st day awarding ceremony. Good chances for bikers to know & chat each other. Enjoyable traditional dance, singing, drinks & food. A lot of sweet salads from grassland besides beef and pork.

Living in Mongolian tent was not bad. It's warm inside while 15 degree outside at night plus strong wind the whole night. The wind helped bring us dry shoes and cloths.

The 2nd day race start was over half our drive away. Bus for bikers and truck for bikes had been arranged. Again, iBike was ready to go

It was such a sunny day which was good. Plus mostly flat trails, not necessarily using brakes, as my rear disc brake pads were entirely gone in muddy yesterday. It happened to over half disc brake users.

I was ranked at 28 in these two days. It's good, within my expectation. However, my timing could not manage to be in women's top three

The thing a little comforting was that I did not even see the back of the lady champion since start on the 1st day, but I tried to catch up their 1st group at least the first 1km on the 2nd day

2nd day race ended at the central square of the town where event hotel lies. Hundreds of people were watching. Everyone finished at the end were surrounded and been asked for signature, including me. Being celebrity was really great feeling!

the 3rd day 85km was actually very challenging to most of the participants, after first two days 50k+50k race. My legs were already sour after two days

Darren said, Martin & he train everyday except Monday!!

A lot of bikers went back home the 3rd day evening and early morning the 4th day. Some stay for the run... Louis, Hans & I did test run in the late afternoon, just to see if we recovered from the day rest. Thanks God! Running seems use different muscle group. Those soar muscles did not bring pain during exercise.

I had not enjoyed the lovely green and scenery earlier cycling days due to speed and tough competitiveness. Running was good chance now. At the long hilly section, green runs up at my right side till the sky, and it spreads down on my left ended at horizon line where the small town is.
